CONTENT:
Adapted
from the nationally-recognized Positive Discipline curriculum, this
four week class focuses on parenting skills surrounding the emotional
health of all family members. Content includes home stress management,
healthy self expression skills, communication strategies and
de-escalation tools.
INSTRUCTOR:
Our
trainer, Kelly Pfeiffer, wife and mother of four is a trained parent
facilitator and has educated parents using the "Parenting the Positive
Discipline Way" curriculum in Upstate South Carolina since 2000. A
graduate of Furman University, Kelly serves as a Certified Positive
Discipline Associate/Trainer for the Positive Discipline Association
and a Master Certified Child Care Trainer for the South Carolina Child
Care Training System.

curriculum is a secular based parenting curriculum that works well with
a variety of religious beliefs.

this parent workshop will help parents with any age children, from
birth to adult aged children. The class concepts will work with all
ages and can be easily adapted for age appropriateness.

especially helpful to parents of children with behavioral challenges
